Beachgoers must be ME Constituents in good standing or guests (guests are non-Rainbow Lakes residents and must be accompanied by an ME Constituent in good standing).
Under no circumstances may an ME Constituent not in good standing be on the beach.
ME Constituents who are not in good standing may not be the guests of ME Constituents in good standing.
ME Constituents in good standing may swim at their own risk but must follow all the beach rules.
As per NJ State Regulations, all persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No swimming alone. Supervision is a parent, guardian, or an individual 16 years or over who remains with the child or children at the beach and swimming area.
Parents are responsible for their children knowing and observing all the rules.
No drugs, smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted on the beach, waterfront or beach walls at any time.
Additionally, persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be prohibited from entering the beach or beach area.
Those using the beach must stay within the designated swimming area.
Boats, kayaks, canoes, and all other watercraft are not permitted in the swimming area.
Non-swimmers must be accompanied by a capable swimmer over the age of 16.
Small flotation devices will be allowed provided that a non-swimmer is accompanied by a responsible person.
Please keep large tubes and all vessels off to the right side of beach.
These must be removed at the end of the day (no storage of vessels on beach).
Diving off the main swim lane dock is restricted to diving into the swim lanes.
Rough-housing is not permitted on the beach, on or along the walls, docks, or floating rafts.
ME Constituents and guests are required to report all accidents immediately to Wayne, Shelly, and/or Tom (See RLCC Board contacts here) and complete an incident report.
Swimming is prohibited once thunder sounds or at the sight of lightning.
All lifesaving equipment (including the boat) is for emergency use only.
The beach is carry in/carry out. Whatever personal belongings you bring to the beach (chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels, etc.) are to be taken with you upon leaving.
Any sand toys, rafts, tubes, life vests, etc. that are left will be placed in the wooden storage box and will be for the daily use of the beach goers.
Personal items found will be placed in the lost and found box.
All holes or trenches dug by you or your children must be filled in before leaving the beach.
Disrobing is not permitted on the beach.
Children who are not toilet trained must wear hygienic swimwear (such as “swimmies”).
No motorized vehicles except emergency vehicles or lake treatment vehicles will be permitted on the beach.
For safety reasons, motorized vehicles, bicycles, strollers, etc. are not permitted on or against the beach wall.
Please use the rack and/or parking lot opposite the beach at the volleyball court.
Fishing or boating is not permitted on the beach or dock areas at any time.
No pets, except for service animals, will be allowed on the beach at any time.
No disposing of animal waste in the beach garbage cans.
Glass bottles or glass containers are not permitted on the beach.
No food or alcohol allowed on the beach at any time.
Food is permitted at the picnic table.
Conduct which endangers the safety and/or comfort of the other beachgoers is prohibited.
Continued violations will be brought to the attention of the Board of Trustees (See RLCC Board contacts here) and may result in the loss of beach privileges.
No open fire/bonfires will be permitted on the beach unless arranged by the General Events Trustee with approval of the Board of Trustees (See RLCC Board contacts here).
Signs will be posted if the beach is closed due to water quality or treatment.
